Role Summary

This role is within our client's pre-sales analytics leadership team and dedicated to expanding their footprint and delivering top-notch analytics services to major financial institutions. Partner with BFS clients to identify untapped value in their data assets. You'll collaborate with sales and account management teams to design solutions that unlock insights and drive growth for their clients. You'll take initiative to uncover clients' hidden analytical needs, acting as a trusted advisor who connects their challenges to impactful solutions, services, and consulting expertise. Be comfortable working autonomously or with broad guidelines; this role will often be working independently at client offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored analytics solutions that empower them to achieve their strategic objectives.
  • Lead engaging discovery workshops, whiteboard brainstorms, and deep dives to define objectives, roadmaps, and requirements. You'll collaborate closely with clients to craft solutions that address their unique challenges and drive impactful results.
  • Proactively contribute to pipeline and revenue generation through strategic execution and management of demand-gen activities.
  • Craft and deliver compelling presentations that resonate with C-level, VP, and Director audiences, showcasing our client's value proposition and influencing key decisions.
  • Lead the charge in crafting winning RFP responses and orchestrating successful pilot projects and Proofs of Concept, from meticulously gathering requirements to designing, delivering, and implementing game-changing solutions.
  • Bridge the gap between sales, clients, and delivery teams. You'll collaborate closely with client engagement managers, sales reps, analytics experts, and solution consultants to smoothly move deals towards closure. Once it's a go, your expertise ensures a seamless handover to the offshore delivery team, communicating business requirements and context clearly.
  • Become a valued member of our client's CoE, collaborating on data tool development to fuel their analytics and data science initiatives. Your teamwork will unlock their full potential.
  • Mentor and groom a team of hands-on consultants for senior or strategic roles and assignments

Eligibility Criteria

  • 8+ years analytics consulting experience with at least 3 years in analytics pre-sales role.
  • Industry experience in the Hi-Tech industries [HW / SW] is a must.
  • Experience in areas like customer, sales, marketing, pricing, supply chain, digital media, paid media, multi-touch attribution, or ML modeling is a must, as you'll play a key role in turning data into actionable solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in handling large datasets using data and cloud technologies like SQL / SAS/ R / Python / AWS / Azure etc. is a plus.
  • Experience with BI platforms like Qlik, Tableau, PowerBI or Dataiku is a plus.
  • Exposure to data architecture, cloud platforms, and data engineering is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to connect with clients, both existing and new. Translate complex concepts into engaging stories and become a trusted advisor for the client.
  • Successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets.
  • Travel to customers as required.
